INTRODUCTION and CONTENTS This book represents my personal take on the concept of god. I am not asking anybody else to agree with me nor do I intend any disrespect to anybody who holds to an alternative belief or opinion. I have written this primarily to allow my mind, which has worried at this problem for well over 50 years, to finally (I hope) put it down. I have made this text available on the basis that since it is neither secret nor clandestine then the fact of its existence requires that should anyone wish to read it then they should be able so to do. You can take it or leave it ! I apologise for the fact that for technical reasons the appendices have had to be omitted from this on-line version.
