This site is dedicated to the “I don’t believe it” brigade; that ever growing legion of over 70s whose views, welfare and even existence are largely ignored by their juniors and their inferiors – including most of those in the corridors of power.

It differs from the norm only in that in addition to the carping criticism, for which we are justifiably famous, there is also offered the bare bones of an intelligent solution to each of the absurdities discussed. However, due to the unrivalled collective stupidity of those who have somehow wangled themselves into a position of being able to bring about change in our society (much of it useless, unwanted and/or unworkable) it is tantamount to certain that none of these solutions will ever be taken up !

Your attention is particularly drawn to the tale of the primeval calf in Sam Foss's poem 'The Calf Path'. It describes us all pretty well.
